Thank you's and goodbyes (see you laters?)
Hello all,
Last night, in a freak technological accident, Really, Fox News? was deactivated. After “reactivation,” the blog is blank and has lost all followers, posts and messages. I’ve discussed this with Tumblr support, but they are adamant that it is impossible to reinstate any of the old information. It is amazing how upsetting this is, and I think that says a lot about the amazing community here on Tumblr.
At this point, I am still in shock at having lost 2 years of work, information, and connections in seconds. Rebuilding is an option, but right now I’m not sure that I have the time or energy to undertake that process.
Really, Fox News? has been an incredible experience. I wish I could thank all 10,000 of you fantastic, loyal followers. I hope that one day I’ll bring back RFN at a less overwhelming time, so I’m going to leave the blog up as it is for now. In the meantime, I will still be around on Tumblr on my personal blog, so please feel free to follow me there. I’ll be posting mostly about politics, news, cats, lesbians, feminism and Harry Potter.
As I’ve started over with followers (thanks, everyone who refollowed!), please, please, please pass this post around. I can’t believe I’m writing this, but thank you all so much for 2 great years, and especially those who have been around since the beginning (christianjoseph, looking at you).
Love always,
RFN
